Croeso cynnes - a warm welcome to you. Isfryn is in the tiny village of Aberangell on the Southern edge of Eryri/Snowdonia, between the quaint, stone-built town of Dolgellau and the market town of Machynlleth. It sits in the beautiful Dyfi valley, a Unesco-recognised area of significance for nature and local culture. Whether you want to explore the local mountains and lakes, bike or walk, visit the miles of local beaches, ride the 'Great Little Trains of Wales', visit castles and museums or just chill out listening to birdsong, we've got you covered.

    A NOTE ABOUT ACCESS...

    There are three steps to access the terrace which leads to Isfryn's front door, then five steps up to the door itself. the stairs inside have a firm handrail, but are quite steep. If any of these things would cause you difficulties, Isfryn may not be the ideal cottage for you.
