We have had a lovely break here, enjoyed all the treats thoroughly and really appreciated a comfortable place to chill out. We had a great, sunny walk up Cadair Idris and a slightly less steep one around the Cregennan Lakes. Such a beautiful place to be!
Thanks for creating a lovely, cosy cottage!

Dear Linda, dear Steve,
It was just GREAT to stay in your little cosy cottage, tucked away in this beautiful mountain scenery and full of lovingly collected furniture, style, warmth…and great food! I adore your cake! Thanks for having me!

Thank you for a very welcoming short break. We appreciated Steve’s walking route suggestions in the “Out & About” folder -including Pen y Clipiau (currently thick with bracken), Cemmaes Loop (on which we only saw one other person all day) and the Mynnydd Tri Arglwydd. We’ve also been up Cadair – although it’s busy, it’s such a beautiful shape, I had to go back!
Thanks again for the welcome, for fire and cake and fabulous bread!

This beautiful cottage and its idyllic surroundings far exceeded our expectations ( the online description doesn’t do it justice!). It is certainly the most homely, relaxing and well-equipped house we have ever stayed in!
Thank you SO much Linda & Steve for your warm welcome (with hot drink and delicious chocolate brownies) as soon as we arrived after a long and wet journey here.
We LOVED all the home-made goodies! (jam, marmalade, granola, houmous, lemon curd cake and even Welsh cakes halfway through the week!) A VERY BIG THANK YOU!

Thanks again :0)
P.S. Home made food was delicious

We have had a lovely short break at Isfryn and enjoyed especially reading the little book showing its development. The home made goodies (especially the muesli and fresh berries) were lovely. It’s a cosy little place with plenty of nice books and very homely to come home to at the end of a busy day.
Beautiful scenery and very restful…shame we have to leave!
We hope to see you again on another visit. Very thoughtful hosts!

Wow! What a wonderful place. A big thank-you to Linda & Steve for making us feel so welcome. The cottage – ISFRYN – is so beautiful and comfortable – we are sad to leave. Thank-you for the delicious goodies – what a treat!
The surrounding area is stunning and we’ll be back to climb a few peaks when it is not quite so hot! Fell in love with Corris, so who knows, we might be neighbours one day!? :0) Love the mountains, lakes, slate fences – and sheep! Take good care

We have had a fantastic 3 nights at Isfryn Cottage. We wanted a chilled-out, peaceful, quiet break from our busy lives and this was just perfect. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet location and is stocked up with everything you need for a relaxing break. Steve and Linda are excellent hosts who have put a lot of time and effort into the cottage and it has really paid off. The attention to detail is spot on! The Welcome Basket ( lovely home made bread and cake!!) to the guide books – everything is covered. Even when we were looking to go for Sunday lunch, Linda took great pleasure in calling all of the local pubs /restaurants and gave us a list of what times they were all serving. Overall, an excellent stay in a lovely place with lovely hosts. Thank you Steve & Linda. xx

Thank you Linda & Steve for lending us this fantastic little cottage for a few days. We have heard a lot about it, but none of the stories quite created the lovely, homely, quaint character cottage you have created. Thank you for your warm and homely welcome.
Thanks for the goodies you prepared for us. They were all brill! From the bread to the lemon cake – all excellent – we enjoyed! We loved our time here, sharing your dream. Thanks again for everything. We will definitely return.

Thank you for a delightful weekend break from the city – loved the morning chirps, coloured rooms, bright sunlight and pictures, artefacts from around the world – also the home made touches. We’ve devoured the hummus, bread and muesli…but felt too greedy for the jam too! We’ll be back for a log-fire winter retreat :0). Take care
